My cooking class in Istanbul...


Yayla corbasi (hot yogurt soup with dried mint)

Karniyarik (eggplant stuffed with minced meat)


Incir tathsi (walnut stuffed figs in syrup)

Turkish coffee
Gita and I replicated the soup and eggplant back in Gent and it turned out sooooo delicious!

  1. Sure, get us fat. Send the recipe for the soup if you still have it. I love figs but have only had them as I was picking them off the tree.
    How is everyone doing? Other then your food dishes we need to see your pictures to. We miss you guys, we send you lots of kisses and hugs, love you.
