First solid food
We gave Alex his first taste of rice cereal today. At first he spit it out but by his second feeding tonight he had the hang of it...that's the "Holmes" in him, eating comes naturally to us. Its a little early, but Alex will absolutely not take a bottle and I need to be able to leave him for longer than two hours on occasion. We thought we would start introducing him to solid food so that in a month or so he would eat it but he seems to have the hang of it already so Steve and I might actually get to go out for a nice long dinner on our anniversary...Yay!!!

Looks like he's pleased with himself. Must be the formal attire he's wearing for his first bites. The picture is adorable and we love seeing any you post on here.
