We took Cynthia and Maryanne to Monschau which was recommended by one our Belgian friends. It turned out to be exactly the “German town” experience we were looking for. I was so pleasantly surprised and am now in the process of booking our Christmas market trip. It was Leavenworth but "German". I had a hard time narrowing down the pictures to post... WOW!!!! What a beautiful place. It gets better the further south you go. The Bavarian part of Germany is like Leavenworth but even more beautiful. I have a great family portrait now of you guys. Love seeing you four together doing so much. That town doesn't look that far from where you live, just over the border a little way. You sure have lots of places to explore and all that history.
ReplyDeleteAnyway keep enjoying yourselves.
We love you,
Gloria is right - great family portraits for the wall. Leavenworth was really nice, but nothing like getting to the real thing!! Wonderful. Love and hugs.
